Dua Lipa’s Friday set showed how effectively modern pop can fill the Pyramid Stage without losing momentum. Coldplay then treated the same field as a giant visual canvas, piling lights, guests and spectacle into a record fifth headline appearance.
Elsewhere, the festival still rewarded wandering: breakout acts, veteran performers and left-field programming made the strongest case for leaving the biggest stages.
Our verdict: 4/5. Slick at the top, more interesting at the edges.
