The 2025 edition was full of supposedly secret appearances that circulated through the site long before stage time. Pulp’s return landed as collective nostalgia done properly; Charli xcx turned the Other Stage into a huge, abrasive pop event; Olivia Rodrigo closed the weekend with the confidence of a fully formed headliner.
Lewis Capaldi’s return added another emotional thread, while the wider bill reminded everyone that Glastonbury’s greatest strength is the collision of generations and genres.
Our verdict: 4/5. Messy, over-discussed and still capable of producing something nobody can quite replicate.
