Photography used in this launch build is from Wikimedia Commons under reusable Creative Commons licences.
Additional local and festival photography
The current build also uses reusable photographs from Wikimedia Commons/Geograph for Glastonbury High Street, Benedict Street, Northload Street, Butleigh Road, Wells Market Place, Sadler Street, Street High Street, Shapwick Heath and Glastonbury Festival. Individual file licences remain with the photographers and are linked through Wikimedia Commons.
Restaurant pages use a venue photograph only where a reusable licence is available; otherwise they use a photograph of the immediate street/location rather than copying a restaurant’s copyrighted social-media photography.
Festival images in this build
The Festival landing page and the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and fallow-year pieces now use six separate Wikimedia Commons/Geograph files. The pages no longer intentionally share a single Festival thumbnail.
